Model-based Parallelization (MBP)

PDSL encourages model-based design of parallelization. It is often hard for engineers to parallelize programs by hands. Simulation and modeling tools such as MATLAB and Simlink are very powerful to support optimization and improve productivity. Topics of particular interests at PDSL includes:

  • Design methodology of control systems on multi- and many-core processors
  • Data structure for co-design between model-based and implementation considering parallel and distributed architectures
  • Automatic parallelization from model-based design
  • Validation and verification for MBP
